The majority of the fixtures that the CNR Robinson Lighting and Supply Company sells are to electrical contractors for new construction projects. These projects can be as small as a conference room or Fotohut, or as large as a new football stadium or prison. The bulk of this business is received through public bids. This process requires us to be the low bidder to a particular electrical contractor; he in turn must be low to the general contractor, who must ultimately be low on the entire job. Obviously, there are a lot of variables in this process and it is very often another party who ultimately dictates wether or not a bidding party even has a chance to write an order. However, despite everything that could potentially go wrong, the CNR Robinson Lighting and Supply Company has been very successful in being awarded a substantial amount of new construction business. Our commercial lighting department has been generating about $6,000,000.00 in annual sales with about six employees. Some of the larger projects we have completed include the new Veterans Hospital, Harborview Condominiums, and all of the Light Rail Stations.
